What book character or movie character do you think would be good for a mural on the wall at school? Why?

hailey j asked:

My school is asking each student to nominate a book or movie character for a mural at school. I need a character that would be a good influence on students and I just can’t decide what to choose. What do you think would be the best character for the mural? WHat are three reasons?

good book

Harry Potter would be an amazing character to have on your school’s wall. I wish he was on my school’s wall! My number one reason for choosing Harry would be just because…it would make me happy inside; but I GUESS you want real, convincing evidence that Harry Potter would be the most fantastic of all people currently residing in the realm of the imagination to be painted on your schools wall. I could go on for a really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really really long time about all the reasons why this is a good choice, but I’ll narrow it down.

Firstly, despite weather or not you, or those around you like Harry Potter for whatever reasons, may they be “magic is satanic” to “these books are just another fad”, Harry Potter is a spectacular example of bravery and loyalty. The books have made history and to have Harry on your wall would be a piece of the past to those who later attend your school. The books have had a most striking influence on the children all around the world causing literacy to skyrocket. I haven’t met anyone who hasn’t heard of Harry Potter or seen the books. Most people have read one or two of them. Harry Potter is a character students can relate to and those unwilling to attend school don’t want to see a picture of Huckleberry Finn on their wall–they’ll see it as propaganda from the school to get them doing their homework. Because Harry Potter is a character everyone can relate to, a mural of him on the wall would change the school atmosphere to one that reaches out a little more.

Does that sound obsessed? Haha….whatever.
