will the panasonic lumix dmc-tz1 work with a 2gb/4gb sd card? will it read/write to the high speed sd cards?

i just want to know if it is worth it to purchase a 2gb card or a 4gb card to be able to use only one card on a long photogenic vacation. i know the 4gb cards are sdhc and are not compatible with many devices.

Hello…

Panasonic offers a product/sd card compatibility chart here:

Max for you is 2GB at High Speed.

(my understanding is that the camera uses FAT16 for its SD cards so it will be limited to 2GB due to this)…
