What is a good book with the connection between knight templer and free masonry?

I’m just tryin to find a good book on the knights templer and how they came to connect. Or a book on the whole york rite would be nice.

I saw several great books on this subject over at Barnes & Nobles on Saturday. Don’t remember the exact titles now but those guys over there know there book locations. You could probably look at the Barnes & Noble or Amazon website and do a search on Knights Templar to find some good ones.
“Foucault’s Pendulum” by Umberto Eco deals directly with that subject.
Coil’s Encyclopedia covers most of the appendant bodies of Freemasonry including York and Scottish Rite and the degrees within those orders.
Weber’s Freemasonry although very rare gives a perspective from the mid 1800’s.
Another good Masonic dictionary would be McCoy’s.
Coil’s and/or McCoys would probably be available through your public library although you may have to request an inter-library loan fro another libraries collection.
One of the best books that connect these topics is a book by John Robinson entitled “Born in Blood: the Lost Secrets of Freemasonry”. Much of his evidence is pretty circumstantial, but he builds a rather good case for his claims.
BTW, I am a Master Mason,, a Past Master and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, and I found the book fascinating. No sinister plots or nefarious connections, but pretty intriguing ideas.
Amazon has the book here:
Well, there are a few, but one that everyone raves about is Born in Blood. Also, you can look at Hiram Key, which details alot of information not neccessarily connected only to the Knights Templar. At the Wiki site, there are alot of references only to the knights templar specific. Also, a website with a bunch of good books you can order.Enjoy.

They didn’t connect, free masonry is different from the dead order of Knights.
