Oh sure! There are many being fooled by “Satan”, especially those that believe in such an entity.

Maybe the “devil” made him do it!

Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Look for the fruit in their life. If they are being blessed by the Lord, I believe they are prophets. If you don’t see fruit in their life, you know, people leaving the church, he’s getting divorced, that kind of stuff. Also pray and ask the Holy Spirit.

This doesn’t sound like Satan working to me. Your pastor has the gift of being able to see things. This was called a seer in the old days not to be confused with a prophet. My wife has the same gift . What turns it into Satan’s work is when the holder of the gift uses it for his/her own gain like Balaam in the book of Numbers or for contacting the dead, (necromancing) like the witch of Endor. There is no evil in having a gift that God gave you if you use it for his purposes , and not to get your own gain. God bless you and your pastor, keep the faith.

The gift of prophecy and mediums have nothing in common. Mediums count on some knowledge from a “spirit guide” of someone who has passed over and claim to be able to use this “gift” with anyone who asks. G-d gives prophetic knowledge when He sees fit for his glory and not for the glory of the one who passes on the knowledge.
