fun games to play with little kids?

in school, we have this program where you pair up with a little kid and you talk to them and they make things for you and you read to them and everything and we meet with them 2 or 3 times a month. i’m in 7th grade and my “little” is in 1st grade. i’m a girl. my little is a boy who likes superman and batman and that type of thing. he has a crush on me.
heres my problem. everytime we meet with them just to talk or do something quietly i have nothing to say to him except small talk. favorite color. that sorta stuff.
whats a fun game you can like play with your hands with a first grade boy? we aren’t aloud paper or anything cause its in the courtyard where we meet. i tried to teach him a little palm reading i knew but he didn’t understand. help please

a good game for a first grader is chutes and ladders or other easy games. ask if you can bring side walk chalk and play tic tac toe or hang man….a jump rope is another good distraction

you could play spider man saves the day this is how you play it you tell him to be spiderman and go to the track and make him run like about 1 mile by the time he’s done bata bang bata boo hell be so tried if you tell him to write his abc’s hell do it

Try doing a “story in the round”. It’s usually done with more than two people, but could be adapted for just the two of you. You make up a starting line for a story out and then your “little” gets to add to the story, then you add to it and so on and so on. The sillier the better.

Tag, hide and seek, marbles,jump rope, tell stories to each other, you start, he says the next part, you finish…ect…

Try to play spider-man and climb a tree and have him try to save you from the building [witch is the tree] and your supposed to be lady who’s going to be saved and he’s spider-man.
