could you proof read this paragraph?

Wak Attack asked:

could you proofread this

1.The Setting of The Highwayman is in a small town controlled by British soldiers’ during the American Revolution. The story is based around the old inn where Bess lives and the road that passes by it.

The Mood of the highway man is very somber and dramatic as you read the story you understand the fate of Bess and the highway man. The beginning of the story is very somber when Bess is in love with a dishonorable highwayman instead of the honest working stable tender Tim. At climax the story becomes very dramatic as Bess kills her self and soon after somber as now Tim and the Highwayman are both heart broken.

2.Phrases that were repeated in the story were Moonlight (the time the highwayman arrived), Marching (when the soldiers arrive at the inn), Window (where Bess shot herself), and Riding (the horse the highwayman rode on).

3.Central conflict is that the soldiers are trying to capture the Highwayman but are unable to. To conflict is resolved with the death of Bess which alerts The highwayman helping him avoid arrest.

ssandydem Says:

anytime u want to proof read something read it slowly – one word at a time and out loud so u can hear what has been written. that way u will be able to catch more errors.
1. highwayman is one word here and in the second paragraph 2 words and 1 again in 3. is this what u want? a period after dramatic. tender, tim. at THE climax comma
2. needs a : after the second were.
3. the central
good so far but i think more detail is needed throughout. watch ur tenses, u have were and is. if the paragraph is past tense leave it past tense. good luck
