Are you going to buy books and read at home or you will choose to read at book store?

Living in a competitive city and life really make me more aggressive and initiative. The only ways to improve ourself is through reading. But my problem is I don’t have extra money to buy books to read specially the imported books that cost me more than RM100. Reading in book store already be a culture for most of reader. Do you think reading in book store is good enough to grab the information and knowledge from the books. How about spending money to buy the books and read it when we are free?

Yup, buying books sure is much better than reading in the book store. But we won’t need that books anymore when we finish reading it.

What is your point on this issue?

Reading is better than not reading, so go ahead and read in the bookstore. But you will still want to buy some books. Reading a great book only one time is like listening to a great song only once.

Go to the LIBRARY.
The books are free, you read them at your convenience, & you just return them when you’re done.

How about the library?
I’ve taken the habit of not wanting to buy a book unless absolutely necessary. I figured I might save a tree or two when I borrow from the library instead of buying one. Anyway it ends up taking too much space.

I **** reading in the book stores,because there is never enough sits,and comfortable places to sit,and usually there are so many people there .
I like buying a cheap book and reading it at home,less noise,comfortable bed.

I don’t live in a big city and therefore don’t have the opportunity to read books in a book store. I’ve brought books all my life – and now have far more than I have space for. I think a room without books is incomplete. If everyone read books in store, the authors would not get paid, and eventually the stores themselves would go out of business as they would not be making money. I go with those who say that if you can’t afford to buy books, use a library. Here in the UK at least the authors get some income through Public Lending Rights.

hi i am assuming you live in malaysia since you used RM, well today is my last day vacationing in malaysia i had a great time and the book stores here are amazing. what i liked about the boookstore here is that they have a cofeeshop for you to sit and relax, who said that you have to buy the book there are no rules on that right so just go to a book store and get a book and relax in the cofee shop and have fun i hope someday that you can aford all the books you want and make a nice library for yourself inshala
another thing is if you have local library’s that you can barrow books from that way you can give them money but they will return it when you give the book back i dont know about here but thats how it works in my country the problem is that they dont have really good books :P
anyway good luck and try to read as much books as you can the way want to read them :)

Aside from the pleasure of reading a book, for me, its also the pride of owning and being able to keep such good books
plus, sometimes i read them again

Well, if you live in big city, there’s probably a nice city library. If you can’t buy the books then why not go to the library? That makes much more sense to me than trying to read a book in a store.

i read my books multiple times, so to own it really helps when i want to go back to a story i really enjoyed.

Go to the library for the books. If there is a particular topic you find yourself engrossed in, then go to a Half Price Bookstore and buy some books.
