How often do you buy books from a book store or online?

If online, which site, if from a book store, which one.

Kate Says:

I buy novels at least once a week. I shouldn’t because I’ve not got a lot of money but I love reading. I usually buy my books from Angus and Robertson or from K-mart.
And if I have a discount voucher I go to Borders. It’s my favourite bookstore. So much variety, but a bit more expensive.

I have to go to Barnes and Noble at least once a month. Whether I by something or not depends on how much money I have with me. Usually I do by a book, whether I need it or not. I am a book addict. =P

Online I use amazon, only every few months or so when I’m looking for something specific.

Otherwise, I check out Borders and B&N’s bargain racks about once a month.

But the majority of my books come from thrift stores. It’s amazing what you can find in there, like I recently found the new Grisham, and it’s been out less than a year. I love walking in with $20 and walking out with two shopping bags full of new titles.

Granted, you end up with some stinkers that way, but I’ve also found some rare gems, like an unabridged copy of Anna Karenina for $2.
