STEPHANIE B asked:

I am tight on money but my student adviser said I should purchase my books at the book store on campus.

I understand that some books may have been wrote in,
but other than that, why on earth would a person buy the books new, they are only going to serve the purpose for that fall semester and then I will have to purchase new ones again!
Is this just a way to get me to spend money at the campus book store and do I have to purchase from the book store on campus?

How would it benefit me to purchase them new?

CYWong asked:

Living in a competitive city and life really make me more aggressive and initiative. The only ways to improve ourself is through reading. But my problem is I don’t have extra money to buy books to read specially the imported books that cost me more than RM100. Reading in book store already be a culture for most of reader. Do you think reading in book store is good enough to grab the information and knowledge from the books. How about spending money to buy the books and read it when we are free?

Yup, buying books sure is much better than reading in the book store. But we won’t need that books anymore when we finish reading it.

What is your point on this issue?
